Project Description
Government Innovation is one of Nesta’s key areas of work so launching their first Government Innovation Summit was an important milestone. Their one day conference needed to attract the right speakers, the right delegates and importantly be delivered seamlessly.
Having already picked the venue and started to develop their content, Nesta approached Focal Point to manage the project and support members of their internal events team.
With an audience of 400, international speakers, five breakout streams, an experiential pop-up “shoe shop“, two publication launches, a data visualisation, art exhibition and drinks reception, it was a major event requiring thoughtful management.
Through a mix of in-house and remote working we helped guide the project, ensuring the objectives were met on time and on budget and that internal and external stakeholders we’re managed appropriately.
