Project Description
Nesta’s Health Summit 2019 brought together more than 400 people to reimagine leadership in health.
It was an action-orientated day that saw people from across and beyond the health system exploring more diverse models of leadership – what they look like and how to put them into practice. The Summit attracted national and local decision makers, front-line staff, people with lived experience and innovators, all sharing their experience and exploring bold new ideas for a more people powered approach to health.
Nesta contracted Focal Point to work remotely and from their offices, managing a small team of internal event managers and taking overall leadership of the operational project delivery. Our role involved the management of:
- Internal and external stakeholders
- Internal reporting to the senior leadership team
- Delegate management
- Venue and catering operations
- Audio visual design and delivery
- Print and digital signage
- Budget management and accounting
As well as supporting the team to deliver one of their key events of the year, we also helped to develop some of Nesta’s core processes, including the implementation of a print-on-demand badging system, more accurate budget forecasting and internal processes to better support their content teams.
